Dogs have healthy teeth

We don’t like to talk about it, but it happens. Sometimes, our best friend has bad breath. Whether or not their breath smells or not, a dog’s dental health is essential for a long and happy life.

If left untreated, dental disease in dogs can worsen or lead to fatal illnesses and is rising as one of the leading causes of death in pets. Hanitosis is often one of the first signs of many of these problems.

It is important not to mask the dog’s bad breath in every case. If the problem becomes extreme, it is prudent to see a veterinarian as soon as possible.

However, if your dog only occasionally likes to drink from the toilet and you want to mask the smell of the potty, here are some great ways to make your puppy’s breathing more pleasurable to the senses. Remember to ask your veterinarian before trying any natural remedies!

    Crunch snacks

Healthy and crunchy foods, like apples – make sure there are no seeds! – Carrots are great treats for your puppy. They can also help break down tartar and bacteria on teeth that cause bad breath.

Consuming these or other crunchy, dog-friendly treats every day may be just what your doctor ordered to help your dog stay in good condition with pearl white!

Fresh mint was great. It works with a variety of recipes and can also be added to water. For humans, it also works well in mojito!

But for your dog, it can also be an excellent addition to a meal. The added bonus is that chlorophyll fights bacteria, not only in the mouth but also in the digestive tract!

    Probiotics

While bacteria can cause unpleasant odors in your dog, there are also good bacteria and the like! Some of these good bacteria are probiotics.

We have these too! They are essential for breaking down food in our digestive tract, and when they are out of balance, they can get food out of control. The same is true for our four-legged friends.

Still, make sure the probiotics you get for them are specifically for dogs.
